    It's just that he's saying blogs are usually well thought out, longer postings and not just a short little blurb like that. You probably want to expand on your thoughts more in blog posts. Also the forums are better for discussions because they don't disappear off the front page quickly, they tend to stick around much longer and can have long or short responses and so forth.
